Estroplus Tablet serves as a contraceptive method, designed to prevent pregnancy. This birth control pill contains a combination of estrogen and progestin hormones. Its mechanism of action involves inhibiting the full maturation of a woman’s egg during her monthly cycle.
You can consume Estroplus Tablet with or without food, but consistency in timing is essential for maximum effectiveness. Always follow your doctor’s recommendations regarding its usage. Typically, you initiate the pill on the first day of your menstrual cycle and continue daily for an entire month. Upon completing one pack, start a new one. If you vomit within four hours of taking a dose, take another tablet. If you miss a dose and are more than 12 hours late, use a condom during sexual intercourse for two days. If you experience stomach discomfort, consider taking the tablet with food in the evening or at bedtime.
Common side effects may include headaches, breast tenderness, nausea, and acne. If these side effects are troublesome or seem severe, inform your doctor. There might be strategies to alleviate or prevent them. You may also notice spotting or irregular bleeding between menstrual periods or even missed periods. If this occurs frequently or persists, consult your doctor. Regularly monitor your blood pressure, as Estroplus Tablet could potentially elevate it.
Before starting this medication, inform your doctor if you are a smoker over the age of 35, have a history of heart attack, or have had uterine, cervical, or vaginal cancer. Your doctor should also be aware of any other medications you are currently taking, as some may interact with Estroplus Tablet, potentially reducing its effectiveness or altering its effects. Do not use this medication if you are already pregnant or breastfeeding.
