Baidyanath Roupya Bhasma is an ayurvedic tonic which acts a nerve sedative and an aphrodisiac. Nanoparticles of silver present in this tonic are used in various medical conditions. These nanoparticles of silver are prepared by providing extensive oxidation under the presence of intense heat. When silver is burned along with some herbs like lime juice, it is reduced to silver ash or residue remains. These residue remains are generated under high temperatures from pure silver particles. Due to the intense heat these silver particles are reduced into nanoparticles or ashes which float over the water as it becomes light.
